So we’re all pretty excited at VC Walcot. The new circuit not only represents a great place for the local community to get their first taste of cycling but also for us as a club a place to grow, put on great events and be part of the local/regional cycling scene.

You can’t help but be impressed by the size of the circuit and what it will be like to go up there in April (hopefully!) and just take a spin around it. Where the tarmac is fully complete the surface is super smooth with a slight banking on the corners. It’s pretty flat but small lumps and bumps using the natural contours should make it a great place to race.

(final touches to the base layer at the wide sweeping car park corner. Tarmac for this section next)
